How do you show people you love them?

Expressing Love can be so simple, it should be done all throughout every day to show the people around that you truly Love and care about them. The only thing is some people want to take it to extreme extents and are not able to or do and go over the top when it’s not always necessary. When you think about how to display Love, you can do it using many different concepts.

Physically - Hug the people you Love warmly and passionately; it depends on the kind of relationship you have with the individual, but it will be easy to differentiate what kind of hug and kiss you give. Hold their hands, give massages and be close. Sex is normally the first thing many people think about when the topic of showing Love physically is brought up, but it’s not always about having sex. Yes, sex does bring two people closer and sends the message of Love as you become one physically, but just looking deep into someone’s eyes, laying so close you hear their heart beat and smiling can show Love.

Intellectually – Have meaningful conversations, listen attentively, broaden each other’s understanding of certain topics, as you share the knowledge you have. Read books together and contribute your thoughts as they may differ from your Loved ones. Help them with big and small projects they are undertaking and suggest ideas that you have to guarantee success. Great minds coming together do a whole lot of lovely things.

Emotionally – Say I love you. It doesn’t have to be said night and day, but when you do say it; really mean it. Consider the feelings of your Loved ones and share verbally just how much they mean to you. Give them compliments and surprise them with texts and phone calls, that will express your Love for them out of the blue and show that you were thinking about them. Respect each other greatly, provide support and give encouragement daily. You too will benefit from these tokens of Love as those around you receive them.

Socially – Spend comfortable time at home with those you Love, doing regular things like watching television or a film and talking, taking inexpensive trips because it's not about spending money, going for a walk or bike ride, playing cards or board games, shopping, watching the sunset, admiring the stars, taking pictures and just being in each other’s presence. Not much people realise how priceless one on one time is. The best thing is; no matter what you are doing you get to create special moments that will be valuable memories that last forever. Be thankful for the time you spend together and show them how much you appreciate it.

Spiritually – Be a healthy spiritual example by allowing your character, mind and heart to positively influence your Loved ones and show them the correct spiritual path to follow. Worship and praise together, share your beliefs and help to further each other’s spiritual growth.

Last but not least, with no category is the act of doing small things for those you Love. It could be as small as fixing a broken appliance or changing a blown light bulb, but it matters. People don’t think small things matter, but to the people you Love it will be like giving them the moon. You can buy small gifts or write notes that illustrate that they were on your mind. This is not buying their Love because you are showing them that you Love them, but that item will mean so much that they will cherish it.

Life is tough when you don’t have Loved ones by your side; so show them that you Love them and they will be with you as you rise.

Love always

Special K
